Hello, I'm Emily!

Over nearly 10 years, I've had the joy of teaching English across public and private systems in South Australia and New South Wales, and I presently teach IB and SACE curricula here in Adelaide. I earned a Bachelor of Arts with a double major in English and History, as well as a Bachelor of Education from the University of Adelaide. I also furthered my studies at the University of Leeds and completed a Masters of Education specialising in Cognitive Psychology and Educational Practice through Flinders University. My expertise primarily lends itself to supporting high school students to achieve their goals. However, I also offer resource development and coaching sessions for teachers and adult learners. Having been an international student in China while in high school, I also appreciate the complexity of second language learning, and I am passionate about supporting students and adults from all backgrounds to build their confidence and proficiency in English.
